Position: Account Manager - Public Sector - Vendor IT Finance

Description:

Our client seeks an experience account manager to further develop strategically & tactically two well established major IT vendor relationships. Your role will be to build upon existing engagement growing financing volumes and finance penetration levels working with the vendors management across all functions to Director level and with the vendors sales staff and their largely public sector customers.

Your KPI’s will be a mix of volume, margin and fee income in addition to a other quantitative and qualitative measures. The expectations are that your role will involve 3 days a week at the vendor partners offices 1 day a week at our clients and 1 day a week with customers.


Candidate Profile.



You will be a consistent high achiever with a background of 5+ years in IT vendor leasing to middle ticket levels. Ideally you will possess a depth of public sector finance experience encompassing broad finance product knowledge and a good technical awareness of public sector financing legislation, process & procedure.

You could be located either in Northern Home Counties, North London , Eastern Thames Valley or potentially the East Midlands.

You will be a confident, focused, self starter with presence & gravitas and the ability to command the respect and support of the vendors management and sales staff. Critically you must be able to articulate the value add of effective use of finance and be able , where appropriate ,  to move the vendors use of finance from re-active to pro-active embedding finance into their entire sales process and their culture.
 

Package: Salary range is to £45,000, on target earnings are £75,000 and are totally uncapped, the expectation is that a high achiever should be able to earn £100,000+ . All usual large company benefits are provided including a market competitive car allowance.
