Development Directors – Retail IT Finance – £70,000 – c£100,000 OTE £120,000 – £150,000 + car allowance
Our client a global IT financier for whom we have placed staff as far back as 2000 and have placements who remain employed from that date are seeking additional Business Development Managers or Business Development Directors who have experience of working with the retail sector.
They are seeking experience of any of the following :
- Experience of selling IT finance solutions direct to retail sector customers of FTSE 250 or larger status.
- Experience of dealing with retail sector customers of FTSE 250 or larger status but getting access to these customers via IT manufacturers , ISV’s , resellers etc
- Experience of selling to retail sector customers of FTSE 250 or larger status either corporate asset finance solutions or corporate banking solutions and the ability to re-leverage your network of C level contacts in an environment offering sophisticated IT finance solutions such as SAAS or DAAS.
Your objectives will be to achieve volume and income target that will be based on whether you join at BDM level of BDD the roles are the same the package just better at BDD level but the target 30% higher. Targets are very realistic we will be happy to share these with you before putting you forward.
These roles are entirely new business one so you will be expected to approach the role very much in the mindset of running your own business. For the avoidance of doubt you will not be gifted any customers.
What you will be provided with are industry best solutions, multiple funders , RV based pricing and the ability to finance anything from a smart phone , through to bespoke application software and services.
We are seeking true new business hunters who have the confidence and ability to open up new doors and the gravitas to make an abiding impression on senior decision makers across multiple functions eg : finance , IT , purchasing , treasury , tax etc.
You will be someone who takes rejection in your stride and simply picks up the phone again, and again and again day after day after day to build a prospect pipeline that you will own and benefit from for as long as you remain employed.
You will be someone who possesses the drive, skills and ability to go out and start your own business but would prefer the advantage of a salary and the support network and infrastructure and the additional advantage of spending more time prospecting and selling than all the other non sales activities that running your own operation would entail.
We are relaxed on whether your background encompasses that of IT finance or not but if you are a generalist asset financier or a corporate banker we need to know that you have the intellectual curiosity and horsepower to get to grips with what the big issue of the day are for a CIO or a CTO , come and tell us what you think they are and we feel you done some research we will be happy to put you forward.
Finally whatever your exact background in the finance sector you will be someone who will want to prove to us your success. This might be by providing us with a deal list, performance stats, P60’s or whatever but you will have some evidence to support your story of success.
Base salary £70,000 – c£100,000 OTE £120,000 to £150,000 + car allowance and benefits
