BDM – Agricultural Asset Finance – location flexible but UK South best – base to £60,000 , OTE £120,000 year 1
Our client a highly successful lease broker are seeking a Business Development Manager to further increase volumes and finance penetration levels on a national vendor programme with a leading agricultural asset manufacturer with whom they have a solus relationship.
The manufacturer goes to market via a national network of independent dealers and our client operates a branded programme whereby the manufacturer provides strategic support to drive finance volumes and thereby sales. Examples include an interest free promotion in the New Year.
Your role is one of building on the initial volumes being written by working with the manufacturer and critically their dealers and the dealer sales staff to encourage preferred use of the manufacturer programme.
You can expect to be involved in everything from training dealer sales staff to use finance early and pro-actively as a sales tool , to identifying and managing your pipeline of deals through credit approval , to helping structure and close deals directly with customers.
Whilst the role is a national one with dealers distributed right across the UK there is a greater proportion of dealers situated in East Anglia, Thames Valley and the East and West Midlands thus sensible access to these areas would be beneficial, however applications from those based elsewhere who match closely the profile are welcome.
We are seeking applicants who have agricultural or construction asset finance sector experience and also have experience working with dealers or a manufacturer.
You must also have experience of closing deals with customers.
You may be working for a captive financier today but are frustrated by a combination of high targets with limited earnings and perhaps also challenges funding all the deals you find.
You may be working for a broker but are finding the cost of funds you are being asked to work with seems high and or the range of funders you have is more limited that it ideally should be and as a consequence your earning potential is being curtailed.
Whatever your background you will need to be a driven, focussed, determined high achiever who wants and needs to earn well over £100,000 and who will put in the effort and the hours necessary to achieve this.

To £60,000 salary + car allowance + excellent uncapped complan of 20% of gross profit – realistic year 1 earnings £120,000 , year 2 £150,00 +
