Business Development Managers – Volume Dealer Driven Asset Finance – Nationwide
Our client are seeking to hire several additional Business Development Managers nationally to prospect , win , develop and manage new name larger volume dealer asset finance business across a wide range of asset classes.
Whilst the roles are new business focused our client has an extensive database of customers that can be used to identify and then derive prospects for warm leads. Further details will be shared with appropriately skilled and experience applicants.
To ensure that the company’s vision and values are upheld when dealing with staff/customers and third parties
Responsible for the continuous management, growth and development of larger Volume Suppliers
Identify and develop significant business opportunities across the United Kingdom
Develop and implement an effective business, marketing and sales plan in conjunction with the objectives of the division
Develop Account Planning activities to maximise opportunities and/or increase share of wallet with existing and new accounts
Increase brand awareness of our client in the market place through professional networking and targeted promotion events
Collaborate with colleagues across the group to enhance sales and cross-selling opportunities across the businesses
Establish effective working relationships with key internal staff, including administration teams (marketing, finance, underwriting, support etc) and members of the Executive Board
Ensure all minimum standards are achieved for operational and credit criteria and implementation of fraud prevention measures to minimise operational and credit risk
Ensure all lending and compliance processes are fulfilled
Our client are flexible of your location and where not located local to our clients office you will be home based.
Sound knowledge of business and asset finance
We are particularly interested in applications from those with a depth of dealer driven asset finance experience , your asset class experience is immaterial as our clients can finance any asset.
Must have experience of working within a commercial finance environment, which must be in a relationship development or new business management role
Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Well-developed sales/networking and credit/finance skills
An assertive, confident and professional manner
Demonstrable sales and business acquisition skills
A clear ability to focus on targets and objectives and to perform well under pressure

Deliver targeted income growth from existing and new accounts measured in Volume
Continually seek out and follow up prospective business opportunities through each level of activity
Achieve Key Performance Indicators set by the Sales Director
Base salary range to £65,000 on target earnings + 25% commission quarterly paid and with uncapped potential plus £750 a month car allowance plus benefits
